Staffing Planner for the Staffing Unit
In Hallsberg municipality, everyone is welcome, regardless of who you are, where you come from, and where you are headed. Hallsberg is in an expansive position with new housing production and the establishment of new companies. About 16,000 residents live in the municipality. We are now looking for a staffing planner for the Staffing Unit!
About the Organization
The Staffing Unit currently has 4 employees. Two staffing planners who cover the short-term absence in elderly care, a digitalization coordinator, and an assistant. The unit's office is geographically located on the northern side of Hallsberg and serves as an internal support function for elderly care operations.
Job Responsibilities
As a staffing planner in the staffing unit, your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving sick leave notifications from care staff, which involves phone contacts throughout the workday
- Booking temporary staff through our database booking programs
- Maintaining ongoing contact with managers and planners from elderly care operations
- Ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with the organization's goals and participating in efforts for continuous improvements
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Computer skills and the ability to learn new things
- High school education
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
Working within elderly care involves significantly helping and supporting people. Therefore, it is important that you are secure, empathetic, and service-oriented. Furthermore, you need to have a very good attitude and good collaboration skills with other professionals and the team. Since the work and conditions can change rapidly, it is also important that you are flexible and can handle stressful situations. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Meritorious
- Experience working in healthcare and social services
- Experience in administrative work, preferably in a similar area as the described position
- Knowledge of scheduling and booking systems like Time Care.
